
Dr. Andrea Carey is a Denver native who taught 4th-8th grade in Littleton before becoming a veterinarian. She received her BA in history from Colorado College, her MA in Education from the University of Denver and her DVM from Colorado State University. Upon graduation from CSU, she completed an internship at the Animal Hospital Specialty Center in Highlands Ranch, CO. Her professional interests include cardiology, anesthesia/pain management and oncology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, (AVMA), Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, (CVMA), Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society, (DAVMS), American Animal Hospital Association, (AAHA) and International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, (IVAPM). In her free time Dr. Carey likes to golf, play volleyball and tennis and watch movies. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her pets; Mulligan a geriatric Golden Retriever, and her cat, Whedbee. |
